Body Speaks Better ("we", "us"), based in Goa, India, operates bodyspeaksbetter.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Booking & purchase details — name, email, phone number, the service purchased, and your session question/notes if you choose to share them.
- Payment information — payments are processed by Razorpay. Card, UPI and banking details are entered on Razorpay's secure systems; we never see or store them. We keep only the payment reference and status.
- Messages — what you send through the contact form or email.
- Usage data — standard analytics (Google Analytics) about how the Website is used: pages visited, device type, approximate location. This is aggregate and not used to identify you.
- Research recordings — only in explicitly consent-based programs (e.g., the behaviour-research lab), governed by the consent shown at the time of recording; recordings are deleted on request.
2. How we use it
- To deliver what you purchased: confirmations, session links, reminders, digital-product access.
- To respond to enquiries and provide support.
- To improve the Website and our offerings (aggregate analytics).
- To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate (payment gateway, email delivery, hosting, analytics), each bound to use it only for that purpose.
3. Session confidentiality
What you share in coaching or psychotherapy sessions stays confidential, consistent with our Evidence & Ethics charter. Recordings happen only with your explicit consent and are deleted on request. Confidentiality may be limited only where the law requires disclosure or where there is a serious risk of harm.
4. Cookies
The Website uses cookies for essential functionality and analytics (Google Analytics). You can block cookies in your browser; the Website remains usable.
5. Data retention & your rights
- We keep booking and payment records as long as needed for the service and legal/tax requirements.
- You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we are not legally required to keep.
- To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We respond within a reasonable time, consistent with applicable Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).
6. Security
The Website is served over HTTPS; payment processing is PCI-DSS compliant via Razorpay; access to personal data is limited to those who need it to serve you.
7. Children
Our services are intended for adults. Sessions for minors are taken up only with a parent's or guardian's involvement and consent.
